The Mission of Il Cenacolo is to promote the Italian language and culture through our lectures and conferences, and to support those initiatives that contribute to the preservation and advancement of our rich heritage for future generations.

Scopo

1. Promote the Italian culture and Language;
2. Award the Borsa di Studio to a student (or students) who has excelled in the study of the Italian Language and culture at an accredited educational institution; or, if this is not possible, award a grant to a cultural/educational institution that has excelled in promoting Italian language and culture;
3. Sponsor conferences, possibly in Italian, on Italian topics, such as literature, music, art and the sciences;
4. Support Italian cultural institutions such as the Italian American collection of the Western Reserve Historical Society and the Italian Cultural Garden Foundation of Cleveland.
